Chapter 116: The Wealthy Tycoon Tony
After hearing Tony's reassurance, Harvey stopped worrying; if Sonia needed help, she would naturally ask. Since he had promised to have a drink with Tony, Harvey spent some time chatting while they drank before eventually heading back.
Tony noticed that Harvey did not mention coming over to help him celebrate tomorrow. Tony did not bring it up either, as he understood Harvey’s position; after all, Harvey’s status in the universe was different from what it was on Earth. Especially on this Void Island, there were many occasions that were not suitable for Harvey to attend or appear in public.
Tony planned to inform Pepper of the good news once the gravity device had secured a buyer. He had a very clear plan for his future. If all went well, he would certainly have enough money to buy a spacecraft within the next seven months. Once he earned more, he would purchase a medium-sized warship and begin transporting goods from the universe back to Earth.
Now that the gravity device had been developed, he still needed to research wormhole jump technology and more advanced propulsion systems. By enhancing Jarvis's computational power, his Iron Man armor would become even stronger, ensuring that he would not have to reveal his identity on Earth in the short term. He had to master the construction of spacecraft and warships; only then could he lead Earth into the interstellar era and integrate it with the universe. Once Earth was connected to the universe, the reputation of the Void Sect would certainly spread to Earth as well. By then, even if he were exposed, it wouldn't cause any real trouble—at most, just some jealousy and gossip.
Tony also understood that as the Void Sect grew and its membership increased, Harvey was gradually raising the threshold for selection. The initial batch consisted of him and Pepper, whom Harvey had personally given an opportunity without needing any tests. Later, with the group including Renault, four days of testing were required. Now, in less than a year, the Void Sect had two hundred and thirty-seven members. If Harvey hadn't set the tests so enigmatically—simply letting people look at the stone tablet instead of opening up the requirements and allowing unconditional passage—the Void Sect would have had tens of thousands of members by now.
However, this slow growth was indeed beneficial. Although there were rumors outside that the Void Sect was mysterious or even fraudulent, there had been no instances of members causing destruction, let alone violating the sect's precepts. Once he helped Earth overcome its crises and led it into the universe, he would likely take Pepper with him. Even if the Void Sect hadn't fully expanded to compare with the Asgard established by the God King Odin in a few decades, as long as the God of the Void, Kassadin—that is, Harvey—was there, those who had joined the Void Sect would have an absolutely trustworthy and reliable backing in the universe.
Immediately, Tony instructed his secretary to find more chefs. He then personally contacted the various members of the Void Island, sharing the good news that he was hosting a victory banquet and intended to treat them to a grand feast. On Earth, as his status grew, many masquerade balls, charity galas, and victory banquets were mostly about social pleasantries, networking, and exploring cooperation, with little actual eating. However, for the Void Sect, they would definitely attend any large-scale banquet, as it meant a massive amount of energy to accelerate their deep evolution.
Almost simultaneously, every member in the Void Sect’s group community received the message.
"A tycoon! A wealthy man!"
"When is it? We are out on a mission right now, but we should be able to make it back by tomorrow afternoon."
"Tony Stark is treating; we have to go."
"I have to work tomorrow."
"This is the tycoon treating us! How much do you earn in a day of work? One meal is worth more than your wages for days."
"You're right. I'll ask for leave then."

The Void Sect's community erupted in excitement at the news of Tony's banquet. Due to the sect's precepts, many members had quit their jobs after receiving blessings, but some still held onto their posts, waiting until their strength increased before considering resigning to earn more money. There had long been rumors in the group that Tony Stark treated people to meals from time to time, making those who hadn't attended weep with envy. Now that Tony was inviting everyone, they were determined to go.
The creator of this community was Sonia, though the group's establishment had been requested by Tony.
Sonia was still busy coordinating when she suddenly heard the constant pinging of notifications. She opened the community and, seeing the lively scene, smiled knowingly. Tony’s arrival not only meant the Void Sect would no longer worry about funding but also made the sect much more cohesive. Sonia clearly wouldn't be attending, as Mr. Kassadin could not participate in such occasions. It was impossible for her to be out feasting while Mr. Kassadin stayed home alone. However, regarding the funds needed for the banquet, Sonia felt it necessary to seek Mr. Kassadin's approval.
Sonia walked out of her room and went upstairs, finding Mr. Kassadin on the balcony, gazing into the distance.
"Mr. Kassadin, Mr. Tony Stark intends to host a lively victory banquet."
"How much should I authorize for Mr. Tony Stark?" Sonia asked softly, standing five meters behind Harvey.
"Just have him submit the expenses after he finishes hosting it," Harvey replied. He didn't specify a budget; he was covering it entirely. He currently had two billion on hand, and he wouldn't mind even if the meal cost tens of millions. Tony was on the verge of selling the gravity device; once it was sold, given Tony's personality, he would proactively repay the money without needing to be asked. Moreover, Tony probably hadn't hosted a large charity gala or victory banquet in a long time. On Earth, Tony couldn't show his true face. Now that he was in the universe and had achieved such great research results, if he didn't hold a grand celebration, it would be hard for someone with Tony's flamboyant nature to bear.
"Understood. There is one more thing I need to report to you, Mr. Kassadin."
"Someone has agreed to place a direct order for one billion."
"However, the other party has one condition." Sonia, having noted Mr. Kassadin's intentions, nodded slightly and spoke.
"What condition?" Harvey asked.
"The other party said they hope you can give them an opportunity to speak with you," Sonia relayed the condition.
"Did you mention my name?" Harvey paused and asked.
"No. But after the other party realized it was me who contacted them, they proposed this condition and asked me to convey it to you to ask for your opinion," Sonia explained, shaking her head.
