After picking nearly all of them, Xuan Xuan clapped the dirt from her hands, ready to turn the shapeshifting grass into shapeshifting potions. Zhan Yu followed behind her.

Kuang Shao hesitated, watching the two walk away. After a moment’s thought, he took out the stalk of shapeshifting grass he’d kept for himself. He examined it—looked fairly ordinary. By all rights, a little nibble shouldn’t do any harm, should it?

The main thing was that Xuan Xuan never lied; her credibility was impeccable. If she said it was edible, then it must be fine. Besides, hadn’t that little creature perched on her shoulder eaten some too?

Kuang Shao, it seemed, was unfamiliar with the saying “curiosity killed the cat.” He concluded that just a taste would be harmless.

He plucked a leaf, popped it in his mouth—no taste, no sensation.

Truly, it was edible.

He started after Zhan Yu and Xuan Xuan, but after only a few steps, he sensed something was off. Why did it feel different? And why did it seem like there were two unfamiliar weights in front?

He reached up and squeezed—soft, springy, and surprisingly pleasant to the touch.

Kuang Shao couldn’t help but praise it; a man of vast experience with women, he knew instantly this was his favorite type—shapely as bamboo shoots, tall, soft, and elastic. Exquisite.

But then he froze. Something felt odd about this. Wasn’t this…?

Wasn’t this on his own body?

A cold sweat broke out on Kuang Shao’s brow. He looked down—and found, right there on his chest, two shapely mounds with a deep valley between. One of his hands was still resting atop them.

He squeezed again, and a sharp scream escaped him. That sensation was all too real.

But was that scream his own? Why was it so high-pitched? Wasn’t that a girl’s voice?

No longer caring about his surroundings or the situation, Kuang Shao, tossing aside all decorum, yanked up his waistband and plunged a hand inside.

An even shriller cry rang out. Xuan Xuan and Zhan Yu turned at once, only to see before them a stunning beauty clad in blood-red, with flowing long hair, a tall, curvaceous figure—truly a sight to behold.

Yet this beauty’s behavior was far from ladylike, with a hand still down her trousers.

Xuan Xuan saw through it in an instant and burst out laughing.

Zhan Yu raised an eyebrow. Why did this beauty look so much like Kuang Shao? The delicate features, those beautiful phoenix eyes, those sensual lips. Now, though, there was a distinctly feminine air about him—plus that fiery, voluptuous figure and that cascade of scarlet hair. Zhan Yu had to admit, this was a face that could bring nations to ruin.

He glanced at Xuan Xuan, who was laughing so hard she was doubled over.

Unconsciously, Zhan Yu found himself smiling as well.

Kuang Shao, seeing the two standing there, strode forward. “What the hell is going on?”

Xuan Xuan was laughing so hard she was almost doubled over. To be honest, Kuang Shao did look beautiful right now. Xuan Xuan figured that, given how often people told Kuang Shao he looked like a woman, it must have influenced the way the shapeshifting grass transformed him under its effects.

“Tsk, tsk, such a beauty.”

When Xuan Xuan refused to answer and even teased him, Kuang Shao was so angry he trembled.

Zhan Yu coughed, said nothing, but stealthily snapped a few more photos and started recording video. Scenes like this were rare indeed.

Kuang Shao was about to go viral—perhaps not even the Federation’s top beauty could match this allure. The Federation’s fanatics and devotees had a new goddess.

Oblivious to Zhan Yu’s scheming, Kuang Shao felt a sudden blaze ignite across his body.

Xuan Xuan glanced at him—his affinity for fire was impressive. Even in such a state of agitation, he could unleash such a powerful burst. Fortune favored him, it seemed; his mental strength had broken through, and his affinity for fire had advanced as well.

But with flames blazing like that, Kuang Shao was probably about to have a major wardrobe malfunction.

“What’s happening to me?” Kuang Shao demanded again, unable to lay hands on a girl.

Xuan Xuan looked him up and down before replying, “Shapeshifting grass changes your appearance according to the image in your mind. Of course, it’s not real—just a mental illusion.”

According to the image in his mind? Zhan Yu shivered. Did Kuang Shao really have such preferences?

He took a quiet step back, recalling some of Kuang Shao’s earlier remarks, and suddenly felt a bit endangered.

“Nonsense! According to the image in my mind?” Kuang Shao flared up instantly. “I’m a red-blooded man—how could I possibly want to look like a woman? Just because my features are a bit delicate and some people mistake me for a woman, I’m all man through and through!”

Xuan Xuan coughed awkwardly and turned away.

Zhan Yu followed suit, thinking, this grass is incredible—it must have tapped into his inner woman.

Though he turned away, the video kept rolling. Would Kuang Shao thank him? With looks like this, Kuang Shao might just fall for himself.

Kuang Shao was oblivious to the fact that the flames now burning across his body had destroyed all his clothes. Clenching his jaw, he spat out, word by word, “How do I reverse this?”

“There’s no way,” Xuan Xuan shrugged. She really didn’t have a solution; the effects of the shapeshifting grass wouldn’t fade until the drug wore off with time. And who knew how much he’d eaten? If he’d swallowed the whole stalk… Well, this enchantress might be roaming around for quite a while.

Though, Xuan Xuan glanced at the little creature on her shoulder. For it, things might be different.

“What?” Kuang Shao ground his teeth, eyes blazing. “No way to undo it?”

“What did you expect?” Xuan Xuan replied. He’d thought the shapeshifting grass ordinary; now he’d see just how special it really was. Maybe a lesson would do him some good.

The corners of Zhan Yu’s lips curled higher. No way to reverse it? Why did he feel so delighted?

Kuang Shao certainly wasn’t pleased. He bitterly regretted ever listening to their nonsense. Honest people always caught you off-guard with the hardest hits. Xuan Xuan looked so serious and upright—he’d really gotten a taste of her ruthlessness this time!

“There must be a way!” Kuang Shao roared.

Xuan Xuan prided herself on being a kind and well-meaning alchemist. Without turning, she just pointed a finger at Kuang Shao.

He looked down—and was greeted by a nosebleed-inducing view of his own scorching-hot, fair-skinned body, fully exposed. For once in a thousand years, his face turned red as a beet.

He immediately summoned his mecha. “Bastard!” he shouted, and turned to leap inside.

Only then did Zhan Yu, a little regretfully, stop recording.
