Chapter Twenty-Three: True Carnivore
Xuanxuan logged off from the StarNet early, glanced at her pajamas, then crawled out of bed. As an aspiring alchemist, she couldn’t simply stay in bed all day. The dining room should be over there, right? Is an ambitious alchemist supposed to spend every day eating?
Her bedroom was right next to Wan Qi Lianhao’s bedroom and study. Stepping out led to the living room, and further ahead were the dining room and kitchen. Though her body was still small, after taking the “Defy Heaven” potion, her overall constitution wasn’t bad. Besides, she was now a six-year-old child—she couldn’t be carried everywhere every day, could she?
She glanced at the closed door of the study, then strode toward the dining room. She remembered there were a few crab soup dumplings left from earlier, and now she was hungry again.

He raised an eyebrow, opened his device, and saw Xuanxuan, barefoot and in pajamas, striding purposefully toward the dining room. He couldn’t help but feel his daughter’s appetite had grown lately—she was increasingly passionate about food.
