Master Lu gave a soft snort, then rose with the support of his cane and slowly made his way toward the inner room.

As he passed a mountain bike resting nearby, however, he suddenly stopped and stared at it absently.

“Find a time to bring Xuanxuan back,” he said.

Uncle Chi looked at the bicycle. The First Young Master had bought it when he was in middle school, and it had been his favorite mountain bike.

Even now, it remained the only keepsake belonging to the First Young Master still left in this house.

“Yes, sir.” He rose and bowed respectfully.

Having followed the old master for so many years, Uncle Chi knew that deep down, he had always cared about the First Young Master and his family.

He had simply never been able to set aside his pride, even after the First Young Master and his wife died unexpectedly.

But the estrangement had never disappeared, and so it had remained with them.

When Jiang Sui arrived at the office building, Zhao Xin, Shi Heng, Jiang Lai, and Miaomiao were already waiting for her.

“Since Zhao Xin has already told you everything, why don’t you tell us which company would be the most suitable for us to acquire next?” Jiang Sui asked, smiling as she looked at Jiang Lai.
