An explanation for my dear readers

I sincerely apologize for the feedback regarding the filler content in my writing. This is due to my own shortcomings in narrative control and pacing. I intended to create a transitional sequence interspersed with some lighthearted references, but my lack of skill resulted in a poor reading experience for everyone. I offer my deepest apologies for this.

I will certainly work on managing the pacing of the plot and will strive to keep things as concise as possible moving forward.

Regarding the comments about the enrollment arc and Dugu Yan feeling like filler, I did have a specific design in mind. As we all know, the characters in the world of Soul Land are not always portrayed as the most intellectually sharp, and I originally intended to craft some mindless antagonists to serve as foils. Of course, these characters were never meant to occupy large portions of the plot; they were merely intended to act as catalysts for conflict and to help bridge the relationship between the protagonist and Dugu Yan. Simply put, at this stage of the story, Dugu Bo is away from home for various reasons, leaving Dugu Yan to handle the enrollment process alone, which left her with few options when faced with these annoyances.

I apologize once again for my limited writing ability and ask for your kind understanding. To express my regrets, I am releasing two additional chapters at once as compensation. I will be sure to take your suggestions to heart.
