Why are you blinking so much?” Wang Shun’s loud voice immediately attracted everyone’s attention. “Hey, you little bastard, you actually sneaked into our company!” Wei’s sharp eyes instantly spotted Wu Bei and, without a word, grabbed his collar. “Wu Bei! Fortunately, Wang Shun wasn’t a bad person and quickly explained, “Boss, we’re just the food delivery guys!” “Get out of here!” Wei shoved Wang Shun aside with an elbow and shouted harshly, “Call the police! Someone is trying to poison the company!” Wu Bei raised his arm and lightly poked Wei’s elbow at a pressure point. Wei immediately released him as if struck by electricity. Despite wanting to tear Luo Xue to pieces, Wu Bei suppressed his anger and explained, “Aunt Xue, delivering food is my job. If you don’t come clean, I’ll report your father, the ringleader, to the police!” “Enough!” Wu Bei could no longer hold back. His eyes blazed with fury as he glared at Luo Xue. “You can insult me, but don’t insult my father! Have some conscience. If it weren’t for him, would you be where you are today?!” His outburst left Luo Xue momentarily stunned. She never imagined the usually submissive Wu Bei would lose his temper. “Oh really? You dare yell at me!” After a brief pause, Luo Xue turned like a shrew and ordered Wei, “Call Old Hou at the hospital. If he doesn’t kick Wu Shihao out, our promised hospital renovation plan is immediately void!” “Clap! Clap! Clap!”

At that moment, applause came from the cafeteria entrance. Several stern-faced men in black suits surrounded a beautiful girl dressed in a professional short skirt. Wu Bei recognized her immediately—it was the girl who had asked him two or three times yesterday if he had served in the Imperial Capital army. But now, the girl had shed her charming little sister appearance from yesterday, replaced by a solemn, unapproachable demeanor.
