There are some words that must be spoken.
At present, this book has been bookmarked 6,666 times, which, given the word count, is actually not a bad statistic. However, the actual number of readers following the updates is only around two hundred, and recently recommendations have ceased as well. The data is not particularly promising, likely due to issues with reader engagement.
These past few days, I have been reflecting and repeatedly rereading and reviewing the book, seeking out the areas where problems might lie. First, although this is a pure romance with a single female lead, the progression moved too quickly, causing the initial daily life scenes to reach their peak right from the start, leaving little anticipation. Second, the plot is indeed too focused on everyday events, which has made it somewhat bland. Yet, as a slice-of-life romance, there’s only so much that can be done, and I have tried to make it as interesting as possible.
The book isn’t particularly long, and today I drafted several versions of the latest chapter, but ended up deleting them all, still unsatisfied with the result. Therefore, I am taking a day off to sort things out, and updates will resume tomorrow.
Now that I’ve graduated, I also need to consider financial matters, so if the book’s data remains poor, I will likely quicken the pace. I sincerely apologize to all the readers who have followed along up to now. The book is not discontinued, but it does require some adjustments; otherwise, even I am dissatisfied with my writing, and I know you won’t enjoy reading it either.
In any case, thank you for your support! I will continue to reflect and strive to do better.
